Things may be quiet on the music front for Ledisi right now, but she isn't keeping quiet. The powerhouse vocalist is booked, busy and blessed and will be letting her voice be heard on stages worldwide on her upcoming concert tour. She's revealed a full slate of tour dates for the coming months that will find her performing solo and at numerous festivals – including the historic 25th Anniversary ESSENCE Festival in her hometown of New Orleans. Of note, a handful of the concerts on the schedule are billed as Nina And Me shows and concertgoers are in for a special treat.

For a lucky seven shows from May through October, Ledisi will devote those outings to Nina And Me. These select concerts are described as "a musical journey into the lives of Nina Simone and Ledisi." These upcoming shows aren't the first time that Led has paid tribute to Ms. Simone in concert. She performed a one-off Nina And Me show at the world-famous Apollo Theatre in March 2018. Now Ledisi is bringing Nina And Me back and sharing her magic with the masses.

Ledisi will perform Nina And Me at the 2019 Saint Lucia Jazz Festival with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra on May 10th. From there, she'll perform with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra in St. Louis, Missouri in June and with the Metropole Orchestra in London and Amsterdam in August. Additional dates are scheduled in Bethesda, Maryland and Hammond, Indiana with the final Nina And Me concert listed for Atlanta's Symphony Hall on October 18th.

If you remember Ledisi's star-making moment as "Peaches" during that legendary performance of Nina Simone's "Four Women" during the 2010 Black Girls Rock! telecast, then you already know that attending Ledisi's Nina And Me needs to be on your bucket list. See everywhere that she'll be taking Nina And Me on the flyer below, and visit her website for ticket information.
