Tank And The Bangas Bring Their Quirky ‘Nice Things’ To 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' & Vevo

Last night, Bounce-Worthy musical ensemble Tank and The Bangas made their long overdue national television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The group brought their latest single “Nice Things” to TV screens across the nation along with their distinctive quirky style.

“Nice Things” is another genre-bending track we’ve come to expect from the New Orleans band. However, the group added a new spin to the track, putting a spoken word piece at the beginning where Tarriona “Tank” Ball tells a gentleman caller creeping in her DMs to come correct and give her proper respect. While the whole group played their positions, Tank lit up the stage with her multifaceted vocals, giving us spoken word, soul sanging, vocal tics, rapping and more that defied description. Aside from Tank's antics, her flute player deserves an honorable mention for his short set, knock-kneed stance and off-beat dancing in the background.

There was A LOT going on during their performance, but watching the group grow and mature over the last few years, it was an honor to see them achieve another milestone. “Nice Things” comes from Tank and The Bangas upcoming album, Green Balloon. The highly anticipated album drops on May 3rd. In the meantime, you might be able to catch the group on tour at a venue near year. For now, we suggest you hit play to get into their wild performance on Jimmy Fallon's stage. For something a little more chill but still left of center, keep scrolling to watch them also perform "Nice Things" for Vevo, too.
