PJ Morton Restoring Home Of Jazz Legend Buddy Bolden

Many will get know the story of jazz legend Buddy Bolden soon when a biopic about the cornetist is released next month. However, fellow New Orleans native son PJ Morton is doing his part to make sure that Bolden's legacy lives on in physical form as well. PJ has founded a non-profit that aims to restore what was once Bolden's home in NOLA. In addition to that, they also hope to turn the home into a museum dedicated to Bolden as well as a recording studio and event space. Though Bolden unfortunately passed in obscurity, this move will definitely ensure that his name and legacy as one of the creators of jazz will live on. #KeepOurHistoryAlive
