Chloe x Halle's Halle Bailey may be grown, but she's about to make a star turn in a live-action remake of a childhood favorite for many '80s babies. The singer landed a major role when it was announced that she'd been cast as Ariel in the upcoming The Little Mermaid remake. The news was met with mostly praise and congratulations from fans and celebrity friends alike.
