In case you guys didn't know, Jidenna is back. The "Classic Man" rapper is preparing to drop his sophomore set 85 To Africa this month and is raring up for a full-court press as the days draw nearer to its release. In advance of the album, he's already let off two new singles, "Tribe" and "Sufi Woman." Now he's giving us a look into his new aesthetic with the just-released video for "Tribe."
The clip begins with our boy J opening the door to his crib and inviting us in to the festivities going down. From there, we get a first-person point of view as he leads us through the happenings as the beat drops. What's interesting is that video presents itself as one fluid take (though some creative cutaways show that's actually not the case). The effect makes this seem like one of the most lit house parties ever, though. And with the newly buff Jidenna as your host, not to mention quite a few pieces of eye candy bouncing around beautifully, who can resist getting caught up in the vibes? But beware, as things get pretty trippy toward the video's close.
85 To Africa will be hitting the masses on August 23rd. We have no doubt that we'll be seeing much more of Jidenna in the days leading up to its release. To that effect, you might as well get used to his increased presence by checking him out in "Tribe" below.
