Fantasia Reveals Album Cover & Release Date For 'Sketchbook'

Fantasia's coming! We already knew that when the American Idol victor-turned-R&B superstar started a slow trickle of new music earlier this year with the release of "Enough." Things got a little quiet on her end, though, before she hit full-speed once again — premiering her song "Looking For You" on an episode of BET's Sunday Best and dropping the T-Pain-featuring "PTSD" more recently. But we know it ain't really real until a release date and album art arrive. Well, folks, they're here!

For Sketchbook, Fantasia's taking the idea to heart for the cover. Therefore, the usual photograph is replaced with an actual drawn sketch of the singer's face. She, of course, had to add some glam to the proceedings, so the accents — like a stylish hat and luxurious looking bling — give the cover pops of color (in this case, red, silver and gold). As for what we can expect of the album musically, Fantasia decided to keep that a bit of a mystery as she has yet to release the tracklist. We do know that, aside from the aforementioned songs, there will be a collaboration with Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan included and Meghan Trainor has a writing credit on the album.

When can you expect Sketchbook to drop? The whole shebang is set to arrive at your favorite digital retailer on October 11th. Feast your eyes on the cover above and prepare yourself for Fantasia's soulful return this fall.
