Fatima Delivers A 'Dang' Good 'COLORS' Performance

After the release of her second album And Yet It’s All Love was met with rave reviews this time last year, singer/songwriter Fatima makes her debut on the European music platform COLORS.  Donned in a beige co-ord set and pearls, the Swedish songstress belted out the project’s soulful opener "Dang" against a ruby background. She kicked off her performance with a candid and comical phone conversation, showcasing both her personality and the track’s tale of the struggle to nurture one’s dreams and a relationship at the same time.

Fatima’s performance of the MNDSGN-produced track gives new listeners a taste of ground covered on her latest project. The album boasts production credits from industry hitmakers including Purist, Taz Arnold, J.D. Reid, Swarvy and Natureboy Flako. Fatima takes us along for the ride on a relationship roundabout, from the butterflies to break-up. Always thoughtful and intentional in every element of her delivery, even the album’s artwork exudes the kind of artistic authenticity we’ve come to love Fatima for, highlighting the work of San Francisco-based illustrator, sculptor and painter Monica Kim Garza.

Feast your eyes on Fatima’s COLORS performance of "Dang," and be sure to check out her latest album And Yet It’s All Love on Bandcamp.  Those who are new to Fatima will want to revisit her 2014 debut LP Yellow Memories, which featured Floating Points, Theo Parrish and producer Knxwledge, and search our archives for more from this amazing talent.
