‘Sundays’ Aren’t Easy For Emotional Oranges

Sundays are for lovers. Whether you’re headed to your place of worship, enjoying a hearty brunch with unlimited mimosas or binge-watching your favorite shows on the couch, doing so with the one you love makes it all the better. These are indeed the moments when memories are made. However, if that love ever fades, the weekly arrival of the seventh day can bring about harsh reminders of what once was.

For their latest single “Sundays,” Los Angeles-based duo Emotional Oranges tell the tale of the void left once a relationship is done. Over a mellow and somewhat melancholy track, they take turns recounting love’s aftermath singing, “Sundays with you were special (Special) / I still don't know how to let go (Let go) / Why did you keep in touch? (Touch) / Thought we was deep in love (Love) / You didn't believe in us.”

In conjunction with this latest release, the often elusive twosome announced the official release date for their second album The Juice Vol. II, as well as dates for their upcoming European tour that kicks off in London on October 28th. Judging from their previous releases, including their debut EP The Juice Vol. I and their singles "Don’t Be Lazy," "Just Like You" and "Your Best Friend Is A Hater," the perfervid pair is setting us up for lots of juiciness this fall.
