Though it’s been over a year since singer-songwriter Sunni Colón dropped his EP Satin Psicodelic, clearly he’s been keeping quite busy. After scoring a contract with IMG Models and treating fans to an exclusive Tommy Jeans Presents performance of his single "Mountain Dew" this past August, the multi-talented Los Angeles-based artist has returned with new music. On his latest track “Supernova,” Sunni sings of the intensity of a new love affair and his intention of letting it have its way. Over the lively, infectious track he sings, “The way you make it so hard for me to say a goodbye / I think I want to be around you for the rest of my life / I’m just living in the moment, having good times / I’ll be moving with the motion for once in my life.”
In addition to the song, Colón collaborated on an accompanying visual with HYPEBEAST and Louis Vuitton to promote the Tambour Horizon watch. The spot, directed by Sebastian Jimenez and featuring photography by Joshua Kissi, is available exclusively on Sunni's IGTV. The Google-powered features of this elegant, state-of-the-art timepiece allowed Colón and Kissi to gather inspiration and conceptualize from their respective coasts, before coming together in New York to capture the images included in the short visual.
Give Sunni Colón’s “Supernova” a spin, and warm up your fall/winter playlist by adding the track to your collection from your favorite digital platform. Keep an eye out for more music from Colón, who challenges his fans to “be patient” regarding his upcoming album and promises “it’ll be worth it in the end.”
