Lil' John Roberts has been a drummer to the stars, backing up a who's who of superstars, including Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder. In 2014, he moved from the background to the foreground, however, with the release of his debut album, The Heartbeat. Five years have flown by since the project dropped, and we're patiently awaiting his next album. While he plots his next music moves, Lil' John has kept busy with numerous performances in and around his home base of Atlanta, but he will soon bring his talents to the DMV on Saturday, November 30th to City Winery Washington DC. After stuffing yourself on Thanksgiving and shopping til you drop on Black Friday, spend a chill Saturday night out at Lil' John Presents Stripped where he'll be joined by fellow musicians Tony Tatum, Kari Epps and a few special guests.
