Fresh from releasing her sophomore album Hot Pink last Friday, Doja Cat ended the Veterans Day holiday weekend on Monday night by pulling up on Late Night With Seth Meyers. For her late-night television debut, Doja decided to skip over her newer singles "Cyber Sex" and "Rules" and instead broke viewers off with her summer jam "Juicy."
Taking her cues from the song's fruit-themed music video, Doja and her dancers dressed accordingly. The rapper/singer gave us head-to-toe watermelon realness, dressing up as her favorite fruit in a pink wig, a one-armed and one-legged pink and green bodysuit that fit like a second skin and one pink pump and one green pump. Her dancers, meanwhile, donned skimpy yellow outfits and wore huge lemon slices covering their faces and heads. Their campy getups were quite eye-catching as Doja rappity rapped with her sing-songy flow and everyone shook their juicy backsides. Featured artist Tyga even made an appearance, joining Doja onstage to spit his verse before exiting stage left. He was more like parsley on the plate compared to the watermelon and lemons who had our full attention and were quite entertaining.
