It was 25 years ago that The Notorious B.I.G. dropped his classic debut album Ready To Die. The collection has stood the test of time and can still cold rock a party. Easily considered a legend after this album was released in 1994, Biggie left us way too soon less than three years later. Thankfully he left behind a stellar body of work with this album sitting at the top.
This week the fellas of Vine of the Rhyme and LLeft Entertainment will reminisce about Ready To Die at Ready To Wine where they will pair songs from the album with curated wine selections. Once again taking place at City Winery Washington DC, the event goes down on Tuesday, December 10th starting at 5:30 pm and it will be the last event of their wine and music pairing series for 2019. Attendees will want to get there early to enjoy the happy hour atmosphere with Dr. DeepCrates setting the musical tone on the ones and twos. From there, DJ Pheelin' It and Tracey Lee will take over and lead the listening party and discussion. If past events are any indication, Ready To Wine is going to be a rip-roaring good time that is both educational and hella entertaining.
