Tinashe Turns Up The Heat In 'Stormy Weather'

Tinashe is pretty much showing out at this point. She gave us our Christmas present early when she dropped Songs For You in late November. Ever since, she's been giving out visuals from the project like candy — and we aren't complaining one bit. When we last caught up with her, she took us to Tokyo in "Save Room For Us." Now she's putting her formidable dance skills to good use in a clip for her sultry track "Stormy Weather."

The clip opens in black and white as Tinashe and a crew of dancers move to the song's entrancing downtempo groove. Their moves are probably closer to modern dance in nature than what we're used to seeing from the singer but they're beautiful to watch nonetheless. That's especially true when they show off enviable flexibility and strength with some of the poses. Given the theme of the song, there is also a raw sensuality baked into the choreography that's only accentuated by their form-fitting outfits. The clip's last moments put the focus on Tinashe with a switch to color and a solo dance routine in which the singer flaunts more of her skills before the clip fades to black.

As we mentioned before, we would not be mad if Tinashe gave us a video for every track on Songs For You. It looks like that might be exactly what we'll get in the near future. Guess we're going to have to stay tuned.
