Allen Stone Gets All The Way Live With ‘Chipping Away’ & Plans ‘Building Balance Tour’

Allen Stone is a musical beast, and his take on soul music is uplifting and infectious. You need look no further than his recent release Building Balance for an example of this. As good as he is on wax, though, it's nothing compared to his energetic live shows. For those who are unfamiliar, the singer-songwriter gives us another opportunity to experience his musical magic with a live clip of his track "Chipping Away."

"Chipping Away" is a song to which anyone working at their dreams can relate. Allen sings about slowly but surely working toward his goal and finally seeing it starting to take shape. Seeing him perform the track live, you get an idea of the energy he puts into his performances. He's situated in the middle of his band in the clip as he feeds off the music they're laying down. It transforms him into a ball of energy as he bounces along to the track, at times moving so much that's it's difficult for the camera to catch a clear glimpse of his bearded visage. You can tell that Allen doesn't care too much about that, though, as he moves and grooves to his song.

If you're enjoying all the energy of Allen Stone in this one (or his live take on Building Balance track "Sunny Days"), you'll without a doubt love him live. He officially kicks off his Building Balance Tour next month on February 7th in Austin, Texas. You can find the rest of the tour dates below and get ticket information via Allen's website.
