Gallant & 6lack Keep It Wavy For 'Sweet Insomnia' Visual

After garnering critical acclaim with the release of his sophomore album Sweet Insomnia this past fall, GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Gallant keeps the momentum going with the visual for the project’s title track. The groovy collaboration between the Maryland-bred artist and ATL’s own 6lack tells a fiery tale of infatuation and served as the final blow in building anticipation for the album’s release. As part of a somewhat lengthy roll-out, which also included the singles “Sharpest Edges,” "Sleep On It" and "Compromise" alongside songstress Sabrina Claudio, the catchy tune is just one of the tracks that solidified the project’s place among the top albums of 2019.

The Cameron Dean-directed visual embodies the wavy vibes of the track with its vibrant treatment and wide-angle capture. Described as “retro design meets Bohemian décor,” we spot Gallant seducing the curly-haired object of his affection in-between fish-eye performance shots amongst colorful backgrounds. He's joined in this colorful dreamscape by 6lack who spits his lyrics through a gold grill and emits his usual cool whether sitting on a swing or featured in a kaleidoscope.
