Back in August, singer Omar debuted a fun, upbeat single featuring fellow Brit soulster Terri Walker called "Pass It On." Now he returns with a new video for the single, in addition to a new compilation project, Omar - The Anthology.
For the video, Omar and Walker set up shop at the U.K.'s Brighton Palace Pier as the shots alternate between black-and-white and color. They maintain a playful vibe throughout the video as they dance and sing together, blending their voices across the soulful, jazzy tune. The visuals create a perfect match for the song's message about spreading good energy throughout the world as the two seem to genuinely be radiating good energy as the smiles spread across their faces. Interspersed throughout the video is footage of a dancing duo, whose fluid movements flow along with the song's drum track.
"Pass It On" appears on Omar's latest album, Omar - The Anthology, which was released January 31st on all streaming services. The compilation features 33 tracks that span across his lengthy 30-plus year career including classics like "Best By Far" and "There's Nothing Like This." Additionally, this compilation is one that keeps on giving by delivering another new, previously unreleased song with "Long Time Coming."
Hit play to bop along with Omar and Walker and see if it doesn't leave you with a smile on your face.
