K. Roosevelt, BJ The Chicago Kid & Arin Ray 'Bloom' On This Remix

Following the release of his Bloom EP last fall, LA’s K. Roosevelt drops the remix to the project's title track. Though the original’s groovy guitar and driving bass line continue to take center stage, he enlists fellow crooners BJ the Chicago Kid and Arin Ray to add more perspectives to the “meet and take-down” narrative.

Roosevelt opens the track and shares a story of his lovely prey showing signs that she’s ready to be caught. The catchy chorus paints the picture as he sings, “Hit her with some game when she call me / Tryin’ to catch the thang that she tossin’ / Still ain’t got you saved in my phone yet / She text me her name at the nightcap.” BJ enters with his signature soulful tone and recounts his own tale of shooting his shot with a bad one. Arin Ray rounds out on the last verse and recounts countless unanswered text messages before a blunt invitation sends him running to take the bait. Toxic? Possibly. However, the track is so smooth, we hardly notice.
