SG Lewis Taps Lucky Daye To 'Feed The Fire' Ahead Of His Debut 'times'

Songwriter/producer SG Lewis has been popping up on our radar since at least 2015. Since then he's worked and dropped collaborations with quite a few of our faves. So it's a bit surprising to realize that the talented Brit has yet to drop a solo album of his own. That will change in February, when the multi-hyphenate will release his debut set times. To set the mood for what's to come, he's dropping off his collaboration with Lucky Daye entitled "Feed The Fire."

"Feed The Fire" finds SG Lewis continuing to revisit the sound of soul and disco that he's dealt with in previous outings. A slick and funky bass guitar lick anchors the production, allowing synths and strings to light it on fire and make way for Lucky Daye's vocal. The singer then glides onto the scene with a confidence as he encourages us to have fun and move. That vibe continues as he gets into the chorus, which simply asks that we ignite the dancefloor with him as the night burns on. "I think we're on to something / I want some more / You're so familiar / Like I've been here before / Don't just look at me with that glare in your eyes / Just let it happen, feed the fire," he seductively croons. How can you refuse him when the jam is pumping like this?

"Feed The Fire" is just one example of the vibes you'll be getting from times, which will also feature previously released singles "Impact" and "Chemicals." You can look for the project to be released on February 19th and peep the lyric video for "Feed The Fire" below.
