Celeste Gets Down To Business In 'Love Is Back'

February is almost upon us and that means folks are about to enjoy their first pandemic Valentine's Day. With most of us spending a romantic night in thanks to Miss 'Rona, we must remember that a quarantine doesn't mean romance is gone. In fact, according to British soul singer Celeste, it's here to stay. The singer hammers home that idea with a video for her single "Love Is Back" that heavily evokes the '80s business aesthetic of films like Working Girl.

The singer and the featured actors of the clip break out all the shoulder pads, ruffles, teased hair and dramatic makeup they can to evoke its aesthetic. The result undeniably makes the viewer feel like we're watching something from the time period while highlighting Celeste's sense of cool. As they get to the business of love, the workers stop to celebrate love's return and sway under the power of Celeste's song. Meanwhile, the singer leads the pack in a few unforgettable looks that could earn her fashion-plate status.

The "Love Is Back" visual has us eager to hear what her album Not Your Muse will sound like. Thankfully, Celeste announced earlier this month that it will be released a month earlier than expected. Celeste's debut will now drop at the end of the week on Friday, January 29th. Get ready for what's to come when you watch "Love Is Back" below.
