Anthony Ramos Finds Love In The Club In 'Blessings'

Anthony Ramos, star of stage, screen and everything in between, has a lot of things to give thanks for. But on his latest single “Blessings,” he's singing the praises of a woman on the dance floor who’s got it all. In the song's brand new video, he’s giving us an eyeful of all these “Blessings."

Directed by Blythe Thomas, the video co-stars Genessy Castillo and brings back some nostalgia for the days when we could pack a club and dance until the morning light, which Ramos hopes we can do again soon. “'Blessings' is a celebration of life, a toast to the world opening up, and all the Blessings that come with it,” he says. The clip starts with Ramos walking down a set of stairs into an underground club in NYC. Soon, we see Anthony and the other club patrons getting down and dirty in the crowded, sweaty club. It’s one of those nights where people aren’t worried about looking cool but are all about having a good time. Speaking of a good time, Ramos and his shorty later escape from the crowd to spend a little quality time together in the bathroom.

“Blessings” follows hot on the heels of Ramos' previous single “Say Less,” which was released last month. And speaking of blessings, they just keep coming for Ramos who has the film In The Heights on deck for June 11th, a new show In Treatment with Uzo Aduba and some fancy underwear courtesy of his modeling gig for Calvin Klein’s Spring 2021 campaign. With his sophomore album also on the way, it sounds like it’s Anthony Ramos’ world and we’re just living in it.
