All Jorja Smith Wants Is 'Time'

Jorja Smith continues to capitalize on the release of her latest EP Be Right Back, which dropped back in May. Her singles "Bussdown" featuring South London rapper Shaybo and her most recent bop "All Of This" kept the summer vibes going while the visuals allowed her to captivate with both standard and unconventional treatments. While her latest release “Time” audibly serves soothing energy, the lyrics suggest a sassier sentiment. Over the Charlie J. Perry-produced track, Jorja teams up Irish singer/songwriter/rapper Maverick Sabre to clarify her intentions and her desire to keep things casual.

For the accompanying visual, she hops in the director’s chair to create another candid and seemingly homespun capture. Her adoring worldwide fanbase is treated to outtakes and behind-the-scenes photoshoot footage of Jorja amidst various landscapes and backdrops. Her personality vibrantly shining through the grainy feature, she serves several moods while working the camera and performing the short and spicy track. The playful banter between Jorja and an older Jamaican woman at the end of the video adds a human and humorous touch adding to her approachable and pleasant persona.
