It seems like every day a female rapper drops some new hotness, showing and proving that the fairer sex can rock a mic just as good if not better than the average rap dude. However, while many of these ladies on the scene are unfairly categorized as rapping about the same things, Tierra Whack has made her own lane in the rap game. She rocks to the beat of her own drum, and now on her latest single “Walk The Beat,” Whack walks it like she talks it as she struts her fashionable stuff on and off the runway.
Tierra provides the perfect soundtrack for a fashion show with "Walk The Beat," and the song is actually right on time for New York Fashion Week coming up in September. Produced by J. Melodic, the rapper actually namechecks a few designers throughout. “Alexander Wang with that Helmut Lang / Ghetto fab so I’m still eating chicken wings / Versatile so I can keep switching lanes,” Tierra raps against a booming sound bed of industrial '80s synths and bass.
Pump up the volume on Tierra Whack's latest, and get your Naomi Campbell walk on.
