Many great releases came our way this year. One of the standouts was Water & Garri, the latest EP from international star Tiwa Savage. The set's biggest hit (and rightfully so) was the Brandy collaboration "Somebody's Son," but one of our favorite tracks was the sensual jam "Tales By Moonlight" featuring Amaarae. As the year comes to a close, Tiwa and her collaborator steam up our screens with the track's official visual.
The theme of the clip seems to be late night fantasies, with Tiwa ready to seduce and titillate. We first see the singer in a club washed in red lights. Women dance all around as the club's male patrons imbibe and stare at Tiwa like the full-course meal she is. The singer flirts with them and the camera as she sings and teases, making the sexual tension feel quite palpable. Amaarae soon joins the fray as we're given the peep show treatment before they take us to the streets to show off a few more stunning looks (including Tiwa in a stunning, sapphire blue sequined gown that captures both the light and her beauty). All in all, the visual lives up to the song's sensuous vibes and then some.
