Vine Of The Rhyme is back at City Winery Washington DC to kick off their 2022 season! The VOTR crew are coming in hot this year, and they're beginning with "Decanted: Baduizm" to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Erykah Badu's classic debut album, which was released February 11, 1997.
Badu fans in the DMV don't have to wait until February to celebrate this career-defining album from the Dallas diva, however. "Decanted: Baduizm" goes down on Wednesday, January 12th at City Winery DC with a curated music and wine pairing experience. Vine of The Rhyme's Dr. DeepCrates and DJ Pheelin' It will be joined by guest host Tracey Lee to chop it up about 25 years of Baduizm while sipping on some fine wines. As always, the discussion will be entertaining, the music will be dope, the wine selections will be on point and all manners of fun will be had.
Doors for "Decanted: Baduizm" open at 5:30 pm, and the event will start at 6:15 pm. When you get there, you'll also see some familiar SoulBounce faces. We'll be on-site with another Shop @ SoulBounce pop-up shop and to raise a glass in celebration of this classic album from an iconic artist.
