After the Valentine's Day Massacre of not delivering to his devoted fanbase the first single initially promised, the mysterious, freshly shorn groove vocalist decided to go back to the drawing board for what felt like an eternity. We were understandably heated. But all is forgiven as we don our rose-colored glasses to luxuriate in the earnest gentility of "Pretty Wings."
Although all that's offered is a snippet, there are lyrics available to gander as well as the unspoken promise of complete, eventual gratification. A step in the right direction indeed, but I'm a cynic and I doubt we'll be actually hearing the first full entry into his Black Summer's Night trilogy for many more months to come.
Cue the rare moments when I enjoy being proven wrong.
