Gotta go with Chrisette Michele. That song just hits me at the core every time I hear it. Definitely will be the song I walk down the aisle to when I get married.

Wow this is really a hard one because I have been a Jill Scott Fan forever and I love her voice, style music so much especially Live she can kill it Live her vocal range is amazing, her alibs are amazing she can make anything sound good. As far as Chrisette Michele Love her! not only is her voice unique in this age in time but she is beautiful and her lyrics are beautiful also she is deffinately talented with her vocals and playing the piano...so on this one I have to go with........JILL SCOTT im sorry but she is original, Chrisette reminds me too much of Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie cole in one and its not original but i still love her voice and will support her on all her albums and go to her concerts.

Jill and Chrisetts both EMBODY what music should be knowadays... This battle is not pitted the artists against each other...It is pitting the songs.....I would have to give this one to Michelle. The song is beautifully written, sang, performed.....I still live Jill though.

The are both truly talented,a nd gifted artist. I have had the oppertunity to hear them both. Even though i am a huge Jill S fan. But still I can't quite get the comparisons, their styles are a little different.

Chrisette takes it for me...Something new and fresh with an old school message. Jilly from Philly has has done it yet again. Giving us a tune that keeps on playing in everyones heads.

I have to go with Chrisette Michele's 'Golden.' It is my favorite song on her album.

I've been a hugh Jill Scott fan since day one, but Chrisette did the damn thing on this one. I gotta go for Chrisette. She's young but the song is so "Grown and Sexy!"

Um...why am I spending more time voting for this than I did in the 2004 elections?!! Damn... I'm gonna have to go with Jill for her body of work. But this particular battle of songs...Chrissette wins, because if it were nearly as overplayed as Jill's Golden, who knows which way I'd sway...

Props to Chrisette for penning what could be the biggest wedding song of the next 10 years but Jill's joint is an anthem.

Being much more of a realist and not much on flowery romanticism I personally aspire to the sentiments in Jill's joint, even when I consistently fall short.

More importantly for me, the musical arrangement on Jill's joint just kills. The chord progression hits me each time the same as when I first heard the tune, when I pretty much left it on repeat all day long.

Awww - Chrisette's Golden was the song I walked down the aisle too just less than 2 months ago and people were like WHAT SONG IS that it was beatuiful...therefore my vote is Chrisette 100% - I mean really the lyrics are ridiculous!!!!

I'm a sucker for love and romance but a woman who knows what she wants...Miss Chrisette Michelle has a beautiful voice and her CD didnt get the publicity it needed and deserved. Although, I love Jilly...but right now I'm in this metaphoric stage in my life where I can relate to Chrisette's Golden!! My star goes for Chrisette!!
