Franklin Bridge Gets Cut From 'The Next Great American Band'

Despite being the early favorite with judges and fans alike, Franklin Bridge did not make it through to the next round on the "reality competition" The Next Great American Band as jaws around the country collectively dropped in disbelief and disgust last Friday night. I had a feeling that something was awry when their MySpace page was notably pared down when I checked it out earlier that afternoon, but I was ill prepared for this travesty.

Sorry to say it, but this show is officially a joke. Our reason for watching is no longer there, so good riddance luck to the rest of the competitors. And, quite honestly, is it even a competition anymore with Franklin Bridge not on there? We think not.

The good thing for Franklin Bridge is that the cream always rises to the top, and I'm positive that the guys are going to be just fine without winning this competition. They've been exposed to a wider audience, gained new fans, and gotten a lot of recognition for their talent. At this point, it's just a matter of time before they blow up.
