Vote For SoulBounce To Make The WEEN Pink List

I am pleased to announce that SoulBounce has been nominated by the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN) for their November Pink List! WEEN is a coalition of women and men committed to supporting, promoting and defending the balanced, positive portrayal of women in entertainment and in society. The Pink List recognizes artists and other forms of media that support and empower women, and we've been nominated in the Web Empowerment category.

How fly-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i is that? Not bad for a three-month-old blog.

Since 2/3 of the current staff is female and artists such as Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Ledisi, Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige and Alicia Keys are staples here, this would be an awesome honor for us to receive since we are all about positive artists and their music at SoulBounce. But we can only make the Pink List if people vote for us, and that's where Team SoulBounce comes in. Voting closes at midnight on Wednesday, November 14th, so time is of the essence.

Here are instructions to vote:

1. Go to www.weenonline.org
2. Click on the "Pink List" button on the homepage.
3. Existing WEEN members can cast their votes automatically.
4. If you aren't a WEEN member, then you'll have to take 30 seconds to register in order to vote.
5. Vote for SoulBounce in the Web Empowerment section.
   
6. How easy is that?
