Buckshot & 9th Wonder 'Go All Out'
Damn, I feel like a teenager again! The whole Duck Down crew provided some certified heat during my coming-of-age (remember "Got Ya Opin"?). Buckshot is teaming with SoulBounce favorite 9th Wonder for The Formula, due on 4/15 and also featuring Talib Kweli and Raheem DeVaughn. The jump-off single is "Go All Out" and Buckshot sounds just as sinister as he did way back when. The flow is a perfect compliment to 9th's production, and the soulful horns in the background remind me of exactly the type of flavor Black Moon would've appropriated back in the day. I'm eagerly waiting for this album to drop.

Boot Camp has had an amazing amount of staying power as the industry has fallen apart around hip-hop.
Reminds me that I need to catch up on all those Sean Price releases that I don't own.

It's a headnodder just like Got Ya Opin was/is. Ya'll got me adding hip hop albums to the purchase list and thangs. Gotta diversify my portfolio.
