So Jill Scott Has Been a Little Busy

  • On February 5th, she's releasing her Live in Paris CD/DVD combo, available for pre-order from Amazon. [Amazon]
  • Is she doing some shots (in the buff*) for Allure? And what of those rumors with the sexy Hispanic male model? [P6]
  • Photos and footage of her on the set of The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency have surfaced, [BS, BF]
  • Jill has also partnered with Ashley Stewart to create "The Butterfly" a line of intimate wear* for plus-size women. [AS]
Put that all together and you got what amounts to some serious liberation and power-brokering. Ever since the premier of "Hate On Me" and subsequent Essence magazine spread, we knew Jill had a fresh new outlook on her life and career, and we couldn't be more happy for her. The Jill Scott takeover has just begun and we're watching closely.

(*See, I made it through the entire thing without coming off like a raging perv. I'm proud of me.)
