Seventy 'American Gangster' Remixes and Not a Peep From 9th Wonder!
Yup, we're still waiting on that. Although a couple of tracks have already leaked, we're feenin' for the full release. More than enough DJs across the world have tackled the American Gangster a capellas but it's time for some brand name producers to get behind the boards. 9th Wonder not only has us on pins and needles waiting for The Wonder Years, but I'm sure I'm not the only one sitting white-knuckled at my laptop in anticipation of Black American Gangster. Loopdigga | January 12, 2008 4:05 AM | PermalinkAccording to 9th he's got a lot of stuff coming out this year... The Wonder Years, Jean Grae's Jeanius album, plus new albums with Murs and Buckshot. Apparently Black American Gangster is being picked up by LRG for distribution as promotional only and as of right now there is no release date and no rush to complete the project. I don't think we'll hear it for a while. But I'm about American Gangster-ed out anyway.
