I'm loving this!
Sharonda | March 31, 2008 9:22 PM | PermalinkIt would be interesting to know the criteria Soul Bounce and Bouncers alike used to figure out which classic R&B song(s) makes the list.
For me, one criteria would have to be memorable songwriting and vocal performance. Therefore, songs by Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder should fill up the entire Top 10.
The Idolator list is on some bullshit. But then again, these things are subjective.
I can't wait to see this list.

That graphic is NICE. I'm stealing saving this one.
Can't wait! Do I need to be a super delegate to ensure that Bilal is #1?
Vivrant Thang | February 6, 2008 10:42 PM | PermalinkDang, our permalinks must be confusing as hell.
nOvaMatic | February 6, 2008 7:48 PM | PermalinkI think Raheem did better justice. There is something about his style in this song....reminds me of Marvin. If Marvin was alive, he would sing songs in a similar fashion as Raheem. I think Jaheem, reminds me a bit of Teddy Pendergrass, but again, none of them are not really blowin nothing up like the old-school greats I just mentioned. Bottom Line: I don't like Angie's version, it sounds too studio polished and main stream/pop sound...then again...Pop sells records doesn't it? SMDH!
