To Live-Blog or Not to Live-Blog: The NAACP Image Awards
After a totally out of line tongue-lashing by our friend DJ Stylus for not live-blogging The Grammys, it's looking like Head Butta in Charge is going to make up for it by giving you the play-by-play of tonight's NAACP Image Awards. The Image Awards is usually the classiest event honoring black entertainers, so opportunities to poke fun at what unfolds may be few and far in between. Then again, D.L. Hughley (who boldly reiterated and even agreed with Imus' assertion that the Rutger's girls were nappy-headed and also ugly) is hosting, so that may provide an unintentional chuckle or two. So join us this evening at 8pm EST and tune into FOX. I hope Butta gets home in time because I'm not watching this sh*t. Full pdf of the nominees here.

He looks a mess in that photo. He was obviously teased in school because the whole premise of his "comedy" is about "pickin" on folks. Disgrace.

DL is not funny...and a cornball...and very short.
Ill Mami | February 14, 2008 4:26 PM | PermalinkDL Hughley is soooooo not funny. Although I do enjoy his political banter whenever he's on Real Time With Bill Maher.
