I'm not quite sure who Erykah Badu is trying to fool when she denied revealing who she's currently dating to the New York Times, but we all know it's Jay Electronica. The clip below, shot during the shoot for the upcoming issue of URB magazine featuring the two lovebirds, has Erykah getting all proud of her boo by saying "Jay Electronica is the truth. He's an inspiration to me. He's phenomenal." Wow. It must be love for her to say something like that about some random dude she's just happens to be posing in pictures with.Gotta love all that love.

Jay is on Erykah's label and has been for like the last three or four years. Anybody who has been keeping up with the underground hip-hop scene knows Jay has been putting in work for quite awhile.
