The Trace magazine issue with Erykah Badu and Q-Tip snuggled up all close has finally arrived to newsstands near you. When the cover was first unveiled, many were left scratching their heads as to why they were particularly too-close-for-comfort on the cover. Well, those who were hoping that Erykah's mystery lover was The Abstract Poetic were about as let down as Butta was for ATCQ reunion. What the article did reveal is that Erykah and Q-Tip became bestest best friends three years ago over many IM conversations which sometimes included her baby daddy Andre 3000 and her kids. We are also priveleged to discover that Erykah's first introduction to jazz music was her love of ATCQ's beats. Furthermore, she confirms that it was the love for ATCQ that gave Questlove the idea to christen himself a lover of the tribe known as Quest.
