Erykah Badu Tour Dates Quietly 'Announced'
As an Erykah Badu stan like many of you SoulBounce readers, I have been feening to know when she will be on tour to promote her latest release New Amerykah Part One. Being the stan that I am, I am a member of the Erykah's street team on fancorps.com. Today while checking my inbox, what did I see? A message entitled "Presale code for DC show." If there is DC show, does this mean there's a tour??? I immediately was able to piece together, from several websites, some upcoming dates for Erykah's upcoming tour with The Roots. This is a short list, and more dates will be added once they are officially "announced."
May 8: Boston, MA @ Orpheum Theatre
May 10: Baltimore, MD @ Pier Six Concert Pavilion
May 14: Washington, DC @ Dar Constitution Hall
May 28: Memphis, TN @ Orpheum Theatre
Jun 12: Los Angeles, CA @ Greek Theatre
Jun 28: Paris, France @ Palais de Congrès

One my friends told me that tickets are held and then released closer to the concert date. Guess what I literally just went online to check and see if any Badu tickets were available.....I just got 2 tickets for section 103 at Pier Six. I can't believe it. I went from the lawn to the section RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE!!!!!! WOOHOO YES!

Everyone who knows me knows I got to see Badu up close! I listen to her all day when I'm at work and in the car and in the house. Obsessed no, but a big fan yes...UPSET and PO'd
