Erykah Badu has been mighty busy these days. She is not only quietly touring internationally, but she has also started a home school for her children Seven, 10, and Puma, 3. While home schooling is nothing new for celebrity children, this is usually the case when the children are the ones who became celebrities on their own. Erykah's home school, which currently has 7 children enrolled, is a growing trend among may African-American parents who wish to exercise more control over who teaches their children and what they learn. In the Badu school, young Seven and his mother practice their electric guitars together, and it was also Seven who provided the inspiration for his mother to start production on New Amerykah Part One by suggesting she use the Garage Band application on her laptop. Likelihood of a Seven-Erykah collaboration in the next few years: highly likely. According to his proud mama, Seven has a "beautiful voice." We'll all be waiting with baited breath for Seven's solo album in 2018.
