Keyshia Cole's New Video Is 'Heaven Sent'

Last night Keyshia Cole appeared on BET's Access Granted to premiere the new video for her next single "Heaven Sent." It's no secret that I'm not a big fan, so I missed the episode accidentally on purpose. Plus, I knew that the video would hit the web by the time the credits rolled. Sure enough, the internets didn't let me down.

I watched the video and found myself somewhat impressed. Keyshia looks fantastic; the dark hair complements her skin tone, her makeup is fierce and her wardrobe is sexy, beach chic. The song itself is a mellow cut and the video totally fits that vibe with some visually stunning images. Try and try as I might, I couldn't find anything to hate on. Oh well, maybe next time.

now u know this video is some rehashed mess circa 1998. can u say "everything" MJB? hell, there's several other less memorable ones i can't think of right now. this chick wants to be mjb so bad she can taste it. smh. u dropped the ball on this one homey. or maybe u were just in a really good mood when you watched the video. give it a while, watch it again when ur less distracted and im sure u will see it for the Value Checked Macaroni that it is. LMAO

Well let me take on the hateration duties for you. It's BORING as HELL. I will give it to her -this is the best she ever looked from head to pinky toe. I would kill to be on that island right now.

That aside, this reminds me of the last video...whatever that song is where she's rolling around on the bed in a full length girdle. So what? She doesn't dance. Nothing to look at. There's nothing here enhancing the song for me. Give me some situations, some happenings like....I hate to say it *cough* Alicia Keys *cough* video for Like You'll Never... That is a GREAT video.

Change it up a bit on the next one Keyloko. I'm just sayin.

I dunno. I just finished listening to this song and I don't remember it at all. I like Keyshia but this song is a bad look. Also that yellow dress looks ridiculous on the beach, it is something you would wear to the Oscars.

I saw a Chris Brown video the other day and he also had this non-catchy ballad song. I hope this isn't some new trend.

Ahh well, back to bumping Erykah (the truth). Any chance you have that Re-up gang track???
