Let me just start off this week's Name That Beat with an apology. I am sorry that last week's sample had too many artists that sampled it. For all those who guessed the answer was Weather Report's "American Tango," kudos to you. There were also three artists mentioned in the comments thread who have used this sample: ATCQ, Brand Nubian, and Diamond D. The artist I had in mind when I put the post up last week was Diamond D who used it on his classic album Stunts, Blunts, and Hip Hop for the song "K.I.S.S." Props go to out DJ Diva and DJ Stylus for both of your correct answers.

well, I guess it's easy if you're were listening to hip-hop in the 90's. And if you have the original vinyl that "Fortified Live" appeared on so you can look at the song credits.
