The Brooklyn-based group have been doing their thing for quite some time now, gained the attention of tastemakers such as The Fader magazine, and will be releasing a remix album due in June. Illvia a/k/a Sylvia the Ill is quite a sight for those who appreciate the brooding sexiness of Prince protegée Vanity and women with a little meat on their bones, while her musical cohorts Dirty D. and Nicco provide the beats. Their concert performances border on an exercise in controlled chaos which makes it ever so interesting to watch.
