Recently on the OKP boards, "analoguegirl", who you may otherwise recognize as one Erykah Badu, expressed her diggery of Janelle Monae. "ALL i got to say is I N S P I R E D! love her. kinda remind me of me . kidding . THATS who i wanna be . CAN i get a witness? do i need a late pass?" To wit, such an endorsement is not only hella dope, but speaks to the reality that renowned artists are humble enough to give an up-in-comer their props without being the executive producer of his/her project. The OKP boards are a certified lovefest, y'all.Of course word got back to Janelle, who was absolutely floored to the point of repeating "She's such a strong black woman" ad nauseum.
