Not one to go down without a fight, Nas' potential new album artwork may no longer be entitled Nigger, but that doesn't mean that he can't come with the realness on the album cover artwork. Seems to be able to convey "nigger" without having it printed anywhere on the image, no? Is this cover meant to be thought-provoking? Yes. Provocative? Definitely. Conforntational? Absolutely. Expect the factions on either side of this issue, those who agree with this intent on initially wanting to title the album after the absolute worst word to call a Black person and those who think he's a fool for even attempting this feat, to deepen with this cover. Full disclosure: I love it, but then I'm known for being an angry, militant-minded Black woman. In the end, we'll just all have to wait and see which cover makes it onto Wal-Mart's shelves.
