A few weeks ago when I posted the snippet of John Legend's new track, "Green Light," with Andre 3000 on board, the reaction was mixed at best. But now that the whole song has surfaced and we can all listen to it in full, perhaps some opinions will change. My opinion has stayed the same, however. I was loving the song then, and I'm loving it now. Andre 3000's rap totally makes this track. He's as witty and clever as ever. I don't know about anybody else, but this bad boy makes me want to dance, shout, and shake my body down to the ground.

I love it, love it, love it!!! I think that John Legend is a true artist he can do it all and whatever he does he makes it fly. I feel like those who do not like are are listening to to many Pretty Rickey tracks thinking they are getting their grown and sexy on!!! Andre 3K is on his way to being in the top 2 of my favorite rappers of all time. He is so serious with it. I believe that you could put him on any track and the way he would flip it would be so many light years past everyone else. I tell everyone that he spits that Galaxy rap because it it out of this world. And he is sexy which makes it even better!!! Congratulations to the both of these talented brothers.

way too much autotune on JL's voice, especially right at the start, but dre kills it.
My love for Andre Benjamin...his writing, his vocals, his personal style...is unparalled (which is quite dismaying because he looks just like my father - I don't do the Oedipus thing *shudder*). Anything he spits on, he blesses. And though I can sometimes tire of John, I think this track is a winner. I'll bump it, definitely.
andre is incredible
his lyrics are so insane its rediculous
more people need to listen to him and his lyrics because there are none like his. They are so complex and clever. He is a genius. His names 3000 because he so far ahead of everybody
I was a JL fan on the first go. The second had me giving the side eye while this new endeavor has me thinking he may be coming to his senses. He's not a dynamic vocalist, but he does what works and that's the sign of a smart artist.
And you can't lose with Mr Benjamin on your track. Speaking of which, this track gets the 80s vibe right and overall, the GreenLight gets mad points for retro-originality.
Dre3000 is hands down the best cat in the rap game right now, so anything he gets on I am getting down with. JL on the other hand...I aint never really got into this cats music. Would I bang this joint in my whip? probably not.........................
Never liked Johns voice. This is strait though 3 stacks can do no wrong..sept for those Cameo style cod pieces he was wearing a few years ago. LOL

I was very skeptical about John's new direction at first, but the snippet won me over. Now that the entire song has dropped, I'm anticipating what else he'll have under his sleeve.

This is talent on display...just let the track ride and you will enjoy how they go about their craft.
Love this joint
