Common Wants Kids On 'The Corner'
Common is starting a book club (Oprah-style) for students age 13-18. The Common Ground Foundation is giving students the chance to discuss and critically analyze books through an online community called The Corner. Students will have the chance to blog, chat and listen to celebrities talk about their favorite books. In addition to discussing the book of the month, there will be a national essay challenge. If chosen, the winning student will have the opportunity to meet Common and have their essays posted on the Common Ground Foundation's website.
