Seen his name on so many records but never got to meet him. You can pick him out on his sessions though. When you needed a burn...he gave you fire. When a groove was needed... he cut deep into the arrangement and made it better.

His personality shows and obviously he was easy to work with. I mnow many a musician who never get called back. The shear volume of his work is a testament to his muscianship.

RIP....indeed.
