Are You Gonna Give Will.I.Am 'One More Chance' (To Have a Hit Off of His Album)?
Will.I.Am and the powers that be are trying their darnedest to get a hit song from his September 2007 release, Songs About Girls. Never mind that the disc is almost a year old and went triple aluminum. Yes, Will.I.Am is one of the most prolific producers of our day, but Quincy Jones he is not. Now I'm not saying that he's getting a pass when it comes to his own music to still have the luxury to release singles and film cool videos when other artists would have bounced off of the curb if they did his numbers, but that's what I'm saying. With all that said, a video for the third single, "One More Chance," recently premiered for your viewing pleasure, and it's actually a cute clip. Will follows his lady love around town and changes the scenery to get her attention. Lo and behold, it works! For more Slick Willie, peep him getting live on Jimmy Kimmel Live during a performance of this track last year after the bounce.
