Solange Gets Creative with 'Sandcastle Disco' Video
Solange has been the subject of much conversation lately. From her warm reception to a weirdo fan on stage to her revealing admissions about herself, she has gotten people talking. But at the end of the day, unlike some "artists" who live to show up on everyone's red carpet or have to keep their names in the gossip pages because their music sucks (I'm looking at you Cassie), Solo has surprised us by delivering solid material. Whether this is all a marketing ploy or a genuine reflection of who she is, you gotta give it up to Solange for bringing something different yet still soulful to the table on a mainstream level. Another reflection of her uniqueness can be seen in her music videos. She broke out with a fantastic vid for "I Decided" and returns with yet another creative clip for her second single "Sandcastle Disco." We previously heard a version with Q-Tip on the track, but he's nowhere to be found in the video. Nonetheless, it's still worth a gander to see Solange get funky while dancing on drums, sitting on top of a soup can or floating away with a balloon. Very cute. Color me impressed.

Comments
1. I appreciate her for trying to be different in this current era of look-a-like, sound-a-like chics we have.

3. I like the homage to the old school.
I may get this from iTunes when it drops. I refused to get her sister's last one though.
Beyonce lite as I call her is not without talent.........However this album from what I have heard is hot garbage. The only way I would even contemplate buying this crap is if the CD came with a free tank of gas:)
