Wyclef Jean and Venus Williams got a thang going on. Actually, a few thangs. First, they are set to appear together on the fourth season of Iconoclasts on the Sundance channel this November. (There is also one featuring Alicia Keys and Ruby Dee.)

Second, it was announced that Wyclef will be releasing an anthemic single that celebrates 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist and decorated tennis champion Venus Williams. The song, "Venus (I'm Ready)," is a direct result of their meeting to film their episode of Iconoclasts. It will be played as Williams' theme during the upcoming US Open tennis tournament where she will will likely continue to assert her dominance in the sport.

To hear the song in action, tune into the US Open when it runs from August 25th to September 7th in Flushing, Queens, New York. The tournament will air on CBS and USA concurrently. Or, check Wyclef Web for the single's availability this week.
