I was on YouTube watching this video the other night. And I was looking over my shoulder hoping that nobody caught me watching it.
Robin Thicke wrote this? It makes since to me now. He also wrote a track on Christina Aguilera's first album called "When You Put Your Hands On Me" - Robin is a freak LOL.
Tamara | September 11, 2008 10:32 PM | PermalinkI always this song was one of the most creative tracks ever. Truly underrated. I have it my Zune and blast it in the car when it comes up.
hoodedmonk | September 11, 2008 7:11 PM | PermalinkOh god...LOL...I remember being IN LOVE with Jordan Knight when I was in 1st grade. My mom let me get a poster, the NKOTB Jordan doll, I used to play the cassette at bedtime and fall asleep to it. I drew a picture of Jordan, me...and my favorite stuffed animal and set it to them. They sent me back a signed picture! Hahaha...oh man...Jordan, Jordan...
Anyway...I'm 23 now...and even "Give it to You" brings back memories. I'm surprised to hear the Thicke wrote his material. Interesting!
Felisa | September 11, 2008 4:07 PM | PermalinkOh snap! I used to like this video a lot. That main chick was mad cute after she got off of work hahaha
MuseSik | September 11, 2008 1:16 PM | PermalinkThat Jordan Knight album is ridiculously underrated. Props not only go to Jordan and Jam & Lewis, but Robin Thicke, who co-wrote and co-produced almost every song on the album.
Mike | September 11, 2008 12:55 PM | PermalinkLove this song and the album. Jordan held it down as was robbed for this video on MTV.
Ciara is a trip. I HATE that cover any ole way. There's nothing creative or artisitc about it. Buyer's remorse now? Yeah right.
sdg1844 | September 11, 2008 12:33 PM | Permalinksingersroom must be the new media takeout. they will run with anything.
on another note - you brought it back with that jordan knight video. I used to love that song.
huny | September 11, 2008 12:03 PM | PermalinkAll this time, I thought I was the only black person who dug Jordan Knight's ''Give It To You'' when it came out in '99. High school, junior year (almost a senior)! Woo hoo!
FireMadeFlesh | September 11, 2008 11:55 AM | PermalinkCiara and Diddy really need to sit down some where.
La' Chefs | September 11, 2008 10:57 AM | PermalinkI guess Ciara thinks people are stupid. Although I am not a fan of Vibe magazine, I know Danyel Smith wouldn't have even sent that cover to press if she didn't have clearance. Ciara needs to fall back.
Nikki | September 11, 2008 10:49 AM | PermalinkReally Ciara, I mean, REALLY? I don't believe it; I'm sorry. Why would VIBE (already suffering from 'not-being-as-awesome-a-magazine-as-it-used-to-be' and from sales probably) go AGAINST her wishes? I don't think VIBE wants to become a KING magazine or anything. Ciara, I sense some panicking going on. SMH.
Jordan Knight - his solo album is actually pretty damn good (thanks to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis). I own it and pop it in occasionally. His version of 'Never Take the Place of Your Man' was actually pretty good, too. Many try to do Prince but only few can make the cut; I think he did did okay. :)
