New Videos From Supa Nova Slom, The Lo, Johnson & Johnson and Ryan Leslie
Welcome to this week's new video roundup. I don't know about anybody else, but after watching my 401K go down the charts with a bullet, I need a serious laugh. So that's where Supa Nova Slom (pause) comes in. Dude is bringing the fever in a video tribute to Prince that is an unintentional side-splitter. I think I'm gonna need oxygen. But not before I nod my head to the new video from The Lo -- the artists formerly known as Camp Lo. Also on the block this week is a new clip from Blu and Mainframe under the name Johnson & Johnson with a simple video that just features Blu spitting some hot fire. Coming in last and certainly least is Ryan Leslie with another video for a song that wasn't good enough to have one video made much less two. This time around he kicked the Black beauties to the curb in favor of Latinas. They could have seriously saved the video tape. Nonetheless, enjoy the vids and see ya next week!Supa Nova Slom: "Midnite"
The Lo: "Lumdi"
Johnson & Johnson: "J&J"
Ryan Leslie: "Addiction"

mzvirgo | September 21, 2008 1:12 PM | PermalinkI caught wind of 'Lumdi' earlier in the summer & I've been nodding to it's 50's/60's-inspired [doo wop] magic ever since. Everytime I hear it, that opening sequence of the 80's version of 'Little Shop of Horrors' pops in my head. (e.g. Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold, Michelle Weeks as the Chorus, Levi Stubbs as Audrey II) Though it's an "okay" video, a play on that movie would've made a more interesting video. Hmmm, maybe it's time I work some YouTube magic. :) Just don't sue the luchini outta me, Lo. I love those guys!
